More FFXIV. Honestly maybe a little too much time spent today on blue mage, I tried to do Cutter's Cry solo synced but the second boss seems unreasonably difficult, if not impossible, with what I have access to right now. Maybe with Excuviation, but by that point it would be better to just get the chimera spells from the ARR relic trial (which is thankfully the first of the trials so I have it unlocked). Not like they even really matter until you can get Ultravibration, which is all the way at the end of Stormblood. It's unfortunate that FFXIV blue mage being based around expliting synergies between spells (or just nuking things out of existence with Moon Flute) means that early game blue mage just sucks, considering you basically just have some ~200 potency attacks, 1000 Needles, and like. Bad Breath, I guess? Which in FFXIV is basically just mitigation, the attack down is the only effect that really matters. Even with Mighty Guard you're still a squishy mage until you can get Mimicry and mimic a tank.
